Infrared Images

Infrared Images are captured by blocking any visible light from hitting the camera sensor, usually through the use of a special filter.

Infrared light "paints" an image that is quite different than we can see with the naked eye. For example, greens will reflect as snowy white!

Most often, you will see images that are Black & White, however, color infrared can also be magical and dramatic.

Most infrared images require longer exposure times, resulting in foliage that is blurred by the wind.
